friends

One of my favorite things about summer is time with friends. I have always had LOTS, my girls have lots too... what's missing is a best.

I didn't have a best because we moved... or my neighbor was already taken, or my current best was already a lifelong best with her neighbor.

I've taken some time to think about this as I raise two little girls... why did I never really have a best friend. Why don't either of my girls truly have a best that is the kind of singular relationship I've always longed for?
